Copyright Claims (DMCA)
Last Updated: June 2, 2025
VideoBandito.com ("VideoBandito," "we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This Copyright Claims page outlines our procedures for handling claims of copyright infringement related to the use of our website, located at videobandito.com (the "Website").
1. No Storage of Content
VideoBandito does not host, store, or upload any video content on its servers. The Website acts solely as a tool that allows users to download videos from third-party sources. All content accessed or downloaded through the Website originates from third-party websites, and users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights or permissions to download and use such content.
2. DMCA Takedown Procedure
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content accessible through the Website infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA notice to our Designated Copyright Agent. The notice must comply with the requirements of the DMCA (17 U.S.C. ยง 512(c)(3)) and include the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, including the specific URL(s) or a description sufficient to allow us to locate the material.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
3. Submission of DMCA Notices
Please send your DMCA notice to our Designated Copyright Agent at:
Email: admin@videobandito.com
We strongly recommend sending notices via email for faster processing. Incomplete or improperly formatted notices may not be processed.
4. Action Upon Receipt of DMCA Notice
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, VideoBandito will take appropriate action, which may include notifying the user responsible for providing the URL (if identifiable) or taking other steps to address the alleged infringement. Since VideoBandito does not host or store content, our ability to remove content is limited to disabling access to specific URLs or functionalities, if applicable.
5. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe that your content was wrongly identified as infringing in a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification to our Designated Copyright Agent. The counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled, and the location where it appeared before removal or disabling.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or Los Angeles County, California, if your address is outside the U.S.), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent.
Counter-notifications should be sent to the Designated Copyright Agent at the contact information provided above.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, VideoBandito maintains a policy of terminating access to the Website for users who are repeat infringers. We may suspend or terminate access to users who repeatedly submit URLs to infringing content, as determined in our sole discretion.
7. Misrepresentations
Under the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing or was removed by mistake may be liable for damages. VideoBandito reserves the right to seek damages from any party that submits a false or misleading DMCA notice or counter-notification.
8. No Endorsement of Third-Party Content
VideoBandito does not endorse, support, or verify the legality of any content downloaded through the Website. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their downloads comply with applicable copyright laws and third-party terms of service.
